Mr. Scrooge

So, I promise one of these days I will post more pics. Probably of course a little late. In January I will probably post Halloween pics and pics with Santa, but who cares if it is a little late, right? Anyways, I hope everybody's holiday season is going well. I am calling my husband Mr. Scrooge this year because he hates dealing with the snow, he hates shopping in crowds, and every little thing just seems to bug him! How do I get the holiday spirit in him. I love this time of year. Maybe I will check out the D.I. and surprise him with an ugly holiday sweater. He has always said he wanted a cheesy sweater to wear on Christmas. Or better yet, a turtleneck sweater. I am laughing just picturing my husband in one of those! Merry Christmas everyone!

Finally, I can sleep!

I was so tired of Brecon still not sleeping through the night so I decided to do it. I was going to try the Ferber method and let him cry it out. I was terrified to do it, but I was waking up 2-3 times in the night feeding him and I was sick of not having any sleep. Well, last week on the first night I tried it he woke up about four times and each time I just went in there and gave him his paci and he fell right back asleep. No major crying. The next night he woke up twice. The third night only once and the one after none at all. Here I was thinking that every time he woke up that I needed to feed him, plus feeding him put him back to sleep easier and I felt he would sleep longer once I fed him and I was so tired in the night that I thought he would keep waking up often to eat so I would just give in and feed him. Come to find out that he didn't even need it and he is doing just fine! What was I thinking going six months with the torture of no sleep and hating my baby in the middle of the night! I'm just glad I finally did it and that I feel like I have more freedom (and sleep of course).

My blog

Okay, Alison you found my blog which was not even really started yet. I opened the site and logged in and created the blog and then didn't have time to work on it. When I did have time to work on it our computer crashed which has our photoshop and all the pics on it so I decided to hold off on doing the whole blogging thing, but you found the ugly version that had nothing on it. So, all the pics I have are what you see on the heading (which is my Christmas card). I am still waiting for our computer to be fixed, (hopefully they can retrieve the pics off the hard drive) so I can get some fun pics on this blog. Anyways, I am still working on it and hopefully we can get this rolling soon! In the meantime, this is all I got!
