Baby #3!!!!

I have been anxiously waiting to announce that I am expecting baby #3 in March! I wasn't going to post that I was preggers until I was 12 weeks, but couldn't wait....so I am 11 weeks along! We just got these ultrasound pics on Tuesday and so far so good! Ava and Brec were able to come to the ultrasound too and Ava kept asking if it was a girl....I had to keep telling her that the baby was too small to tell. She even colored a picture at the gym today and said that she was going to save it for a long time for her new baby sister. Anyways, all has been well....I have been EXTRA tired and LIGHTHEADED with slight naseau throughout the day, but no throwing up and of course some days are better than others, but I feel that overall I have been doing good! Now I just need to get over this stage where I just look fat and not pregnant! I know it will come and I will be wishing that I didn't have this big melon to carry all the time. All is great and we are excited!

We are pacifier free!!!!

Last Saturday I was gone to a baby shower and my hubby had to put Brec down for his nap. He said he couldn't find his pacifier so he put him down without one and that he cried for a second but did fine. So, I decided it was a great time to get rid of them since he has been biting through every one of them and possibly causing a choking hazard. So, that night I cut one of his pacifier's and gave it to him and told him it was broken. I did the same thing with Ava and she liked to sleep with the broken paci in her hand at night and was fine until they eventually got lost. Anyways, with Brec I handed it to him and he stuck it in his mouth and then pulled it out and handed it back to me and did not even want it. I put him to bed and there was no crying! He has been fine ever since! How easy was that! He does have his little blanky's at night and his "meow meow" to sleep with so I am glad he has something to reassure him at night. I think that helped. Anyways, no more paci and we are doing good!

Happy 7 years!

We celebrated our anniversary the other day! 7 years! Crazy how time flies! We have been through hard times and good times, but our love keeps growing every day! I can't wait until we are old and yelling at each other just so we can hear each other......hopefully, though we will have good health and not be that grumpy ornery old couple yelling at each other in the store. I want to be the cute little grandpa and grandma.....anyways, it is fun to look ahead and also look back at what we have accomplished! Happy 7 years!

August happenings...

Okay, it has been a while since I have posted! This month has been HOT so we have just been swimming with friends, playing with water in the backyard and keeping cool inside! We went to a safety fair for the kids a while back and they offered a ton of free stuff. Ava got her face painted and won a bunch of disney stuff from disney radio.



We also had fun watching our friends dogs. They were so adorable and loved to be close and cuddle. Ava loved every minute of it and Brec sort of didn't know what the word "soft" meant. We had a lot of early mornings with these dogs and were thankful we didn't own any yet.....too much work with little kiddos.....maybe someday.

And.....Ava started preschool this week! She missed the cut off for kindergarten so another year we go! She is anxious to read so we found a preschool that incorporates reading where they pass off books. Ava is really excited and is so far loving it!

We can't wait for cooler weather to come our way.....not soon enough, but are still enjoying playing in the sun! Happy August!
