Since I am now MiaMaid advisor I got to teach this Sunday and found these cute little handouts online at www.mormonshare.com. They have all these cute handouts and other items to help you out with your lessons. I was able to print these out and attach pudding to them and the girls loved it!
So Brec is doing some major teething action lately and so he has been extra drooly and extra snotty. So, when he went outside to play the other day he decided to play in the dirt and all the excess powdery dirt that would blow in the wind stuck right to everything wet on his face. He absolutely loves being outside being all boy which is everything dirty!
Ava was so excited for preschool! When I picked her up she was really excited to tell me about it all, and when she is excited she talks a lot and really fast. It is really cute! Ava can't wait to go tomorrow!!!
So we celebrated our 6th anniversary yesterday and had a blast! We were able to drop the kids off, see the new Batman movie, check into a nice resort in Scottsdale, enjoy my favorite chocolate cake, and lounge by the pool with no kids in site!!!! It was my mini one day vacation and loved every minute with my hubby. If only it lasted longer! So, here is my list of 10 things why I love my hubby!
1. He tells me that I am beautiful almost everyday.
2. The way he is with our kids and the great father that he is.
3. He makes me laugh all the time because he is such a dork.
4. When he tells me that he is having Monday withdrawals because he misses being with me.
5. He vacuums the house for me!!!
6. The way he sings, especially in the shower....if it's not the same song, same lyrics over and over again!
7. He will just give in and say sorry even if it is my fault.
8. He thinks of others and volunteer's to serve others all the time.
9. He is a priesthood holder and loves the gospel.
10. He is my best friend and we love to do everything together!
Yes, I typed that correctly. Ava will be 4 in October! I am pathetic and didn't want to ever have Ava's haircut because I loved her curls and was afraid they would go away forever if I cut them off. I finally had to give in and cut her hair because it was looking pretty straggly on the ends. I wish I had a pic of Ava's curly locks when she was little, but it is on my hubby's computer. Anyways, her hair looks so much better and healthy now. 
And per your request I took a picture of myself and totally felt dumb doing it. Especially now looking at the picture and noticing that I took it in front of a mirror where you can see my reflection. And no, I don't know what I am doing with my hand, but I am not giving a thumbs up! Ha Ha!
First off, I got a new calling in our new ward and I am now a Miamaid advisor. I met the girls this last week at an activity and I am really excited. We will see how it goes.
Next, I cut my bangs! Yes I have cut them before, I think two years ago and all I remember were these awful pictures of me huge and pregnant with bangs so I grew them out by the time I had Brec. So now you ask why I cut my bangs if I didn't like them? First off, I keep getting haircut after haircut and I just haven't found that drastic change that I am looking for. I am just so sick of my hairstyle and don't want to commit to chopping my hair off because I do like having long hair, so why not go to the bang option again, right? So, I did and the lady cutting my bangs kept saying "oh you want to look like Tyra Banks!" Here I am thinking actually no I don't want to look like Tyra Banks, but whatever, she did her thing and now I have these thick bangs that I am trying to get used to. We will see how long it'll last......they can always grow out once I get sick of them. Maybe I will post a picture one of these days if I am up to it!
Finally finished last night at 2:30 a.m. Yes, I couldn't put the book down! I neglected reading it as much as I wanted to over the weekend so I started reading it last night and I knew I had quite a lot of pages to read, but I didn't care what the time was, I just knew that I would not be able to sleep if I didn't finish the book. I'm glad I finished it and now I just want more. I don't want it to ever end. Let's just hope that the movie doesn't disappoint when it comes out!!!! I will be looking forward to it!
No, I am not trying to show off my foot or anything, I just wanted to show you me and Ava's twinner toes. I think that is the only feature she got from me. She is such a girl and loves getting her fingernails and toenails painted.
